The High Cost of a Bad Hire

It has become quite difficult to attract and hire licensed staff to fill existing vacancies; a “shortage” that will become even more critical as baby boomers start leaving the full-time workforce.
Arguably, of all the management decisions to be made, none has more of a long term impact on your business than the decision as to who will work for your firm, and; consequently, represent you to your client families. Your staff is an extension of you and is a critical deciding factor in the continuing success of your business. You may be better off with “no hire” than with a “bad hire”; as a “bad”, or even “poor”, hiring decision brings with it a very high cost! read more »
